भारतोदय के लिए हिन्दी आनी ज़रूरी नहीं। ये देखिए एक उभरती हुई आईडियल राजनैतिक पार्टी के वेबसाईट, फ़ोरम, याहूग्रुप, गूगलग्रुप आदि। मैं तो नियमित तौर पर अभी पढ़ नहीं रहा। लोग न जाने क्या क्या लिख रहे हैं, कर रहे हैं। लेकिन बेशक हिन्दी के लिए यहां कोई जगह नहीं है।

मैं कुछ देर से इस्तेमाल कर रहा हूं। फ़ोटो तो मिलतीं हैं, लेकिन हिन्दी में भेजे गये पत्रों में शायद वही मात्राओं वाली मुश्किल है। आप भी आजमाईए।

मैकाले पद्धति

रमण कौल जी का इस लिंक को भेजने के लिए बहुत शुक्रिया। पिछले साल मई में अचानक मुझे पहली बार ईंटरनेट पर हिन्दी पढ़ने को मिली, अभिव्यक्ति के वेबसाईट पर। मैंने कई लेख, कहानियां पढ़े। इन्में से किसी 'उषा राजे सक्सेना' जी के हिन्दी पर लम्बे लम्बे लेख काफ़ी अच्छे लगे। तभी से हिन्दी का बुखार चढ़ने लगा था हालांकि ब्लौगिंग के बारे में अक्तूबर में आकर पता चला। किसी लेख में उन्होंने एक पंक्ति में किसी 'मैकाले पद्धति' का थोड़ा सा ज़िक्र किया था। लेकिन इसके बारे में विस्तार से जानने का जुगाड़ नहीं हो पाया। अपना समान्य ज्ञान तो वैसे ही कम है। लेकिन यहां आप देखेंगे कि कैसे आखिर घूम फिर कर इसके बारे में जानने का मौका मिला।

इस वैब पेज की कुछ ध्यान देने वाली अंग्रेज़ी की पंक्तियां मैं यहां कापी पेस्ट कर रहा हूं।

आशा for education

आशा विदेशों में विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के आयोजनों से या चंदा इकट्ठा करके भारत में ग़रीब बच्चों की पढ़ाई के लिये पैसा लगाती है। आशा के म्युनिक चैप्टर से मैं एक साल से जुड़ा हूं। पैसा कहां लगाना है, इसपर भी काफ़ी चर्चा होती है। हर दो तीन हफ़्ते बाद इसके सदस्यों की मीटिंग होती है।

पिछले दो तीन सालों में कुछ संगीत कार्यक्रमों, फ़ूड फ़ैस्टीवल तथा क्रिकेट मैचों के बड़ी स्क्रीन पर प्रसारणों का सफ़लतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। काफ़ी लोग आए और काफ़ी मुनाफ़ा हुआ।

कुछ देर पहले मैं हिन्दी के लिए कोई अच्छा पेज सैटिंग ढ़ूंढ़ रहा था। आमतौर पर अख्बारों, पत्रिकाओं वाले quark express का उपयोग करते हैं, ये बहुत महंगा भी है। adobe का Indesign भी काफ़ी मशहूर है। लेकिन ये दोनों शायद युनिकोड इस्तेमाल नहीं करते। फिर किसी ने एक जर्मन प्रोग्राम सुझाया जो इस मामले में semi professional है लेकिन निजी इस्तेमाल के लिए मुफ़्त है। www.ragtime.de

लेकिन इसमें भी मात्राएं सही नहीं दिखतीं थीं। मैंने इस कंपनी को दो तीन बार ईमेल भेजी, Screenshots के साथ। उनके जवाब जर्मन में निम्नलिखित हैं। मुश्किल ligatures में है। शायद कभी ये समस्या सुलझ जाए। तब तक प्रिंटड नारद का काम MS-Word में करना पड़ेगा।

die Shusha ist bei uns nicht installiert. In unserem Versuch die Indische Tastatur zu aktivieren, fanden wir nur noch folgende Möglichkeiten: Malayalam (India Bengali (India). Wenn wir eine der beiden Tastaturbelegungen ausw䨬en, so werden die
eingegebenen Zeichen in RagTime 6 beta nicht richtig dargestellt. Das selbe passiert bei uns auch im Notepad. Von daher gibt es in der Tat ein Problem mit der indischen Eingabe, welches wir aber nicht so genau lokalisieren können, da es auch in anderen Programmen vorkommt. Wir werden hier mal schauen, was RagTime da besser machen kann. Danke für ihre Meldung.

Ob mit RagTime allerdings auch Ligaturen funktionieren, die in diversen Schriftsystemen vorkommen, kann ich Ihnen nicht sagen.

नारद जी

प्रिंटड नारद जी को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, पिछले कुछ हफ़्तों में और कुछ प्रविष्टियां चुनी थीं जो इन दो वर्ड फ़ाईलों में हैं (नारद 3, नारद 4)। ऐसे ही randomly ली गईं हैं। इंटरनेट पे तो हिंदी लिखने पढ़ने वाले बहुत मिल गए लेकिन असली ज़िंदगी में लगभग कोई भी नहीं है। इसलिए ये एक प्रयास है। मुझे अफ़सोस है कि मैं ज़्यादातर ब्लौग पढ़ नहीं पाता हूं। अगर पढ़ भी लूं तो टिप्पणी नहीं कर पाता हूं। लेकिन धीरे धीरे मोशन बन जाएगा।

और एक बात, हिंदी तो ठीक है लेकिन देवनागिरी वाली गिनती ज़रा मुश्किल लगती है। १,२,३ की बजाए 1,2,3 ज़्यादा अच्छा लगता है।

मैंने आज दूसरी बार नारद की कुछ प्रविष्टियों को दो पुष्ठों में प्रिंट किया और कुछ कापियां बांटीं। ये देखिए वर्ड फ़ाईल। कुछ सुझाव हों तो बताएं। वैसे इस तरह की शुरूआत के लिए हल्की फ़ुल्की प्रविष्टियां ज़्यादा अच्छी हैं। इस बार मैंने ढ़ूंढ़ने में ज़्यादा मेहनत नहीं की। फ़टाफ़ट जो मिला चेप दिया।
